Gym owner and head jiu-jitsu coach Eric Hartwig opened Dekalb County Jiu-Jitsu in September of 2014. Eric is 2nd degree BJJ black belt under jiu-jitsu and MMA pioneer Jeff “Big Frog“ Curran. With almost two decades of training and coaching experience, Eric brings a wealth of knowledge to mats!
Chris Hartwig
Head Thai boxing coach Chris Hartwig. Chris is a retired professional MMA fighter and a retired professional Thai fighter. He is also a 2nd degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and has competed at the professional BJJ level. With close to 20 years experience in both styles, you won’t find a more well rounded coach any where in the area!
